TRAINER & MENTOR
Since 2004 Maria has trained hundreds of other artists to be effective artist facilitators. She has also devised and delivered training for artists wishing to work in the Arts in Health sector.
In 2014 Bangor University accredited two courses. Professional Practice (previously known as The Bigger Picture) trained artists and craftspeople on the business of self-employment. Artist Facilitator Training Skills equips artists to devise and deliver high quality workshops based on their own creative practice.
From 2001 – 2007 Maria was the Arts Business Mentor for North West Wales for Cultural Enterprise.
Maria has mentored five professional artists through the Arts Council of Wales training and mentoring grant scheme.
